Dr. Canalizo is a proud University of South Florida medical school graduate from the class of 1993. He completed his residency at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach between 1993 -1996, achieving the Chief Resident position. Dr. Canalizo worked as an ER physician with EMPros beginning in 1996, as well as practicing with Halifax Family Practice. He recently accepted the position as Medical Director at PrimeCare Urgent Care centers, where he proudly serves the urgent needs of the community. Dr Canalizo is married with two adult children. In his free time he enjoys working out and wine tastings with his wife.
Dr. Milton graduated from the University of Tennessee, and then from Meharry Medical College in 1984. He completed his residency in Pediatrics from the University of Florida. He has actively served the community as an Emergency Room Physician for over 20 years. Dr. Milton joined PrimeCare in 2008. Dr. Milton as achieved many personal goals, including the rank of Eagle Boy Scout. He is a member of the Coronado Methodist Church in New Smyrna Beach.
Dr. Wayne Barry
Dr. Barry was born in Tennessee, and raised in Western Pennsylvania, and adolesced for 2 years in Lakeland, Florida long before Disney came to town. Dr. Barry went to high school in Chicago, college in Boston at Harvard University and medical school in Cleveland, completing his training at John Hopkins in Baltimore. Dr. Barry is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He practiced Emergency Medicine for 32 years before turning joining to PrimeCare Urgent Care in 2012. Dr. Barry is married, has 4 daughters and 2 grandchildren. He is an avid NASCAR fan. In his free time Dr. Barry likes to play golf, cruise and collect art with his wife.
Dr. Robert Walker
Dr. Walker was residency trained in emergency medicine at Allegheny Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. He worked in the Halifax Emergency room for the next seven years. Subsequently, he has had twenty years of experience working in urgent care centers. He finds patient care at PrimeCare to be very fulfilling. A long time resident of Ormond Beach, he also enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
